Enhance and transform the basketball court at your facility with wall-mounted basketball backstops. Side-fold wall mounts are based on the traditional four-point attachment design and allow the unit to store in a horizontal folding position to make room for other court activities. 2500-6094 is a four-point telescopic side fold mount that can be set between 6' to 9' length from the wall and holds backboards with 36" x 63" mounting centers.

When choosing the right wall mount for your facility, there are several factors to take into consideration including pre-existing structures or equipment, facility gymnasium space, condition of facility walls, and budgetary constraints. Side-Fold Wall Mount Systems incorporate four-point attachments for backboards with 36" x 63" or 20" x 35" mounting centers. Stores compactly in side folding position against the wall to prevent interference with other court activities. In-play position, unit locks into stationary four-point position. It offers a direct goal attachment when the height adjuster is purchased. 4/0 upper safety chains with heavy malleable turnbuckles provide additional support. Telescopic design allows for complete adjustability and ease of installation. Structural wood mounting pads included. Mounting hardware provided by others. The board and goal are not included unless the wall mount package is purchased. Not compatible with 60” front mount backboards. Electric hoist, Safstop, and height adjuster are optional.

• The unit must only be installed on walls approved for its rated loads by an architect or structural engineer.
• Failure to attach to approved wall structure can cause the unit to fall resulting in serious injury or death.
• Use only anchors rated for a minimum of 5 times wall loads listed for the unit.
• Incorrect anchors can fall causing the unit to fall resulting in damage and serious injury or death.
• Upper chain anchors must be installed on the same wall surface as frame hinge wood bucks.
• The unit will not fold correctly if upper chain attachments are not directly in line with hinge pivot points.
• Point loads may be exceeded resulting in chain anchor points failing and damaging the unit or causing serious injury or death.

WALL ATTACHMENT:
Unit shall be attached to 2x8 clear coated #2 Southern Yellow Pine wood pads. Units will be additionally supported by 5/0 chain fastened at the front of the unit and attached to a wood pad mounted on the wall. Wood pads will be mounted on an 8" minimum solid core concrete block wall or wall of similar integrity which has been approved by a structural engineer to carry the loads. All critical fittings shall be heavy gauge steel stampings or weldments. Wall anchors are not included. Through bolting of the wood pads to the wall is recommended; however, when through bolting is not feasible, anchors must be rated for a minimum of 5 times the loads shown for the unit being installed.

BACKSTOP:
The backstop shall be supplied with four telescopic extension members, constructed of 1 7/8" O.D. tube telescoped inside 2 1/8" O.D. tube, spaced at 63" centers for a standard application and 35" centers for fan-shaped backboards. The bottom horizontal tubing shall be braced with diagonal telescoping pipes that lock in the playing position. All pivot points are offset to allow maximum fold. All critical fittings shall be malleable iron castings, heavy-gauge steel stampings or weldments. Backstop manufactured in accordance with 2018 NCAA rule 1, section 12, art 2, stating that all backboard support systems shall be at least 6" behind the backboard. The backstop will be furnished with standard black finish.
