The Big Daddy series offers enhanced protection against fire and theft, featuring a 90-minute fire rating and a robust 11-gauge steel body and door. It allows for vertical storage of long guns with the included GunStiXX, a popular system designed to expand your safe's gun storage capacity. The safe is equipped with a UL-listed SECURAM electronic lock with a backlit keypad and is UL-listed for burglary protection (RSC), exceeding California DOJ requirements. It boasts fourteen 1.25" solid steel locking bolts, including five dead locking bolts and nine active ones, along with top and bottom locking bolts for added pry resistance. A drill-resistant, heat-treated steel hard plate is also included, along with an auxiliary re-locker that secures the active bolt work during an attack. The recessed doors and reinforced steel return jambs help to prevent pry attacks. Additionally, the safe is pre-drilled for anchoring to the floor, which is essential for preventing tipping when the doors are open, as well as deterring pry leverage or safe removal by thieves.
