The Big Daddy series offers enhanced protection against fire and theft, featuring an improved 90-minute fire rating and a robust 11-gauge steel body and door. It allows for vertical storage of long guns using the included GunStiXX, a popular system that boosts your safe’s gun storage capacity. The safe is equipped with a UL® Listed SECURAM electronic lock that includes a backlit keypad. It meets UL standards for burglary protection (RSC) and surpasses California DOJ requirements. The unit includes fourteen 1.25-inch solid steel locking bolts—five dead locking and nine active, including bolts at the top and bottom for added pry resistance. It features a drill-resistant, heat-treated steel hard plate, and an auxiliary re-locker that secures the bolt work during an attempted break-in. The recessed doors and reinforced steel return jambs help prevent pry attacks. The safe is pre-drilled for anchoring, which is essential for securing it to the floor to avoid tipping when the doors are open and to deter thieves from prying it open or removing it.
