The Big Daddy XLT2 series offers enhanced protection against both fire and theft, featuring an improved 90-minute fire rating and a robust 11-gauge steel body and door. It allows for vertical storage of long guns with the included GunStiXX, a popular system that maximizes your safe's storage capacity. The safe is equipped with a UL-listed SECURAM electronic lock that features a backlit keypad. It meets UL standards for burglary protection (RSC) and surpasses California DOJ requirements. The design incorporates (18) 1.25" solid steel locking bolts, including 6 deadlocking and 12 active bolts, along with top and bottom locking bolts for enhanced pry resistance. A drill-resistant, heat-treated steel hard plate, and an auxiliary re-locker secure the active bolt work during an attack. The recessed doors and reinforced steel return jambs are designed to prevent pry attacks. For added security, this safe is pre-drilled for anchoring, which is necessary to keep it stable with the doors open and to deter pry leverage or removal by burglars.
