A fixed rim consists of four main parts: the ring, bracing, net attachment, and back plate. By adding rings, increasing the ring diameter, and reinforcing the bracing, you create a more durable rim. Most fixed goals come with double-ringed rims and varying levels of bracing. All rims are designed with universal backplates to accommodate different backboard/rim combinations and include an outdoor-quality net. Although our fixed goals have universal hole patterns, we advise against installing them on glass backboards, as this can heighten the risk of breakage.
