Lifetime’s Courtside basketball portable system comes with a 48 inch Shatter Proof Fusion backboard with a Slam-It rim and a Quick Adjust II height adjustment feature. The portable base is filled with sand or water to provide needed stability. No concrete installation required. Water is easier to manage as far as filling, moving, and draining the base. System has been tested to withstand up to 40 mph winds when properly filled with water. Sand provides more rigidity, is more suitable if you want your system to withstand higher winds, aggressive play, and leaking. Like all of our basketball systems, the Courtside basketball portable system is built with top-quality construction and design. The shatter proof backboard is made of Makrolon polycarbonate, making it virtually unbreakable and much stronger than acrylic. The pole structure is made of powder-coated steel to resist rusting. This is a great-looking system that is built to last through years of family fun and competition. Major components made in the USA. Assembly required. Covered by a 5 yr. limited factory warranty in US.

This heavy-duty classically-styled rim is built to take a slam®! The Slam-It® Rim features double-compression springs providing spring-back action and an all-weather nylon net.
